After wearing glasses for a long time, some minor problems will inevitably occur in the frames. Although these small problems will not cause much damage to our eyes at once, they can also affect the health of our eyes subtly. So how to adjust the spectacle frame? In fact, the adjustment steps of the spectacle frame are mainly divided into: inspection, screw fastening, adjustment of the spectacle frame, adjustment of the external opening angle, adjustment of the tilt angle of the temples, adjustment of the foot cover, adjustment of the nose pad, and try-on The details are fine-tuned to achieve the best comfort.
Here is mainly to check the degree of wear and tear of the glasses, especially whether there are signs of desoldering at the welding points of the frames.
2. Screw fastening
After wearing the glasses for a long time, some screws on the frame may show signs of loosening. At this time, we need to use a professional screwdriver to fasten the screws on the frame. (After tightening, you should loosen it appropriately, not too tight, otherwise it may cause inconvenience during use).
3. Eyeglass frame adjustment
The main purpose of the spectacle frame is to adjust its mirror curvature, which refers to the angle between the plane lines of two lenses. The usual mirror curve is generally between 170 degrees and 180 degrees. (The adjustment of the mirror curve is mainly based on the three parts of the face, eyes, and nose, and then reasonably adjust to the best optical correction state).
4. Adjust the opening angle
The adjustment of the outer opening angle is mainly for the metal frame, and two flat round pliers are required for adjustment. When adjusting, first use a flat round pliers to fix the pile head, and then use another pliers to adjust the outward expansion angle of the temple. (Note: The adjustment standard is generally 90 degrees-95 degrees included).
5. Adjust the tilt angle of the temples
The tilt angle of the temples needs to be adjusted, indicating that the tilt angles of the temples on both sides are not consistent. If it is a metal frame, we need to prepare two pliers. One pliers clamped the head of the glasses to make it immobile; another pliers clamped in front of the hinges of the temples, and then adjusted. (Note: Before using the pliers, you need to find a piece of cloth to avoid damage to the glasses. At the same time, ensure that the hinge will not be affected when adjusting). If it is a plastic frame, we need to use a heater to heat the mirror pusher first. After the temples are heated and softened, hold the frame with one hand and the temples with the other hand and twist in the direction that needs to be adjusted until the adjustment is the most suitable Of the angle.
6. Nose pad adjustment
The adjustment of the nose pads is very simple. If the distance is too large, we only need to use professional pliers to clamp the root of the nose to the nose side; if the distance between the nose pads is too small, use the adjusting pliers to clamp the root of the nose bracket. The temporal direction is twisted. (The standard for adjusting the nose pads must be that the surface of the nose pads are in full contact with the nasal bridge bone, and the distance between the lens and the eye must be 12mm).
7. Fine-tuning of try-on details
As the saying goes, there are thousands of people with thousands of faces. Because everyone's face shape is different, the frame adjustment problem caused by the general face shape is also the most difficult. Because once we have a little asymmetry on the left and right sides of the face, it will cause inconsistent wearing of the frame. At this time, we can only constantly adjust the frame to achieve the best condition.
